Annual financial reports must be made by each ministry to the Association; noncompliance will result in disaffiliation. The new standard base salary for Unity ministers is $36,000. It is compulsory for new ministries to become affiliated with the Association of Unity Churches. Older ministries will do due diligence to comply as soon as possible. Meeting concluded and adjourned. On Wednesday February 8, we reopened our business meeting for an item added to the agenda. Chaplain Training: Lora Beth Gilbreath suggested that some ministry in our subregion host LeiLani Burt and her Chaplain Training Program and that our region give a grant for that purpose. We decided for Unity of Knoxville to be that host church and a grant was given to be used to facilitate the training. Lora Beth will check with LeiLani to see if she is willing to allow additional trainees at her suggested price. Lora Beth will let us know when negotiations are complete. Meeting was adjourned.
